AGAINST ALL ODDS: FROM PHILLY TO LA

Recently, I’ve decided to take my talents to Southern California. Unlike LeBron James’ decision I didn’t receive as much criticism. In fact I got a lot of support surprisingly, even though people do not understand why I made the decision to begin with.

 

For over a year now I have created something in a clothing brand that labels me as some sort of humanitarian – meaning I eat humans. But all jokes aside most of you know that, that clothing brand is Lane Swint. I am relocating for a new perspective and lifestyle; to push the boundaries of my entrepreneurial spirit.

 

With no definite blueprint, guideline or capital to support my decision I am willing to take the biggest risk of my life! I quit my job so I no longer have income. There is no temporary employment set up for me in the west coast. And due to school loans, I have been denied a business loan twice, even though my credit score and payment history is muy bueno. The odds of maintaining my self-sustenance are not in my favor, and some would say this is the most unwise decision of my career.

 

I am aware that my decision is the unpopular one but this system doesn’t work for me. I have never seen anything more clearly and I understand I have to create my own method. I recently released a video stressing to people that they shouldn’t settle for a life less than they desire, and the only way to do that is to overcome our fears. But, my advice is only valid after I’ve done something courageous myself, and I have chosen my mission.

 

I am moving to California and disregarding all doubt. Against all odds I’m diving in head first because I am ambitiously foolish.  I am truly putting my life on the line, and I’m going to see if California can handle me. After doing something so audacious, I will not be afraid to do anything. I don’t have all the answers, but as an entrepreneur I have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
